About Reservations

      Gallatin Canyon Campgrounds (GCC) uses the National Recreation Reservation Service (NRRS) for all reservations in their reservable campgrounds. All campgrounds on the reservation system have 60%-80% of their sites available for reservation, the rest remaining open for first-come, first-serve campers. Reservations can be made until three to seven days in advance of arrival date. When a reservable site has no reservations, it is made available to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. For extended stays (more than one night) under first-come, first-serve, please check with the camp host for the next reservation arrival date. Campers with reservations have first priority for reservable sites and campers without a reservation for a particular site will be required to move to accommodate incoming reservations. GCC reserves the right to substitute sites within a campground without prior notice.
    The NRRS charges $10.00 per reservation on top of Gallatin Canyon Campgrounds' basic fee. This basic fee pays for one vehicle per site. An extra car fee of $8.00 is charged for the second, non-towed vehicle, which will be collected at the campground.
