Muddy Canyon to Crazy Woman Canyon Loop
Miles: 21.9
Difficulty: Intermediate
A picturesque mix of the Big Horns with some challenging rocky sections.
Tongue River Shuttle
Miles: 9.4
Difficulty: Advanced
A downhill shuttle from Freeze Out Point to the mouth of Tongue River Canyon. It starts off on two-track and moves to single-track after a few miles. This rag-tag ride offers some memorable views of the Northern Bighorns; steep on the descent and technical in last few miles of the canyon. Most people call this a 10-mile ride.
Steamboat Point to PK Lane Shuttle
Miles: 20.2
Difficulty: Advanced
There are many old horse trails weaving through about in the Northern Bighorns. This was a project to link together a number of those trails to create one lone shuttle. This is very much an adventure ride and getting lost is almost a guarantee.
Highway 16 Bike Path
Miles: 2.6
Difficulty: Easy
This multi-use path allows you to ride from the lower and less technical double-track sections of the clear creek trail to the upper single-track portions. The grade will be steady but slow, so enjoy the scenery as you pedal. Keep an eye out for other trail users, and be courteous when passing.
Pasture Park Trail #410
Miles: 4.7
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
A fast descent of the canyon to the Leigh Cabin Trail #412. The surrounding terrain makes for a gorgeous backcountry ride that's isolated from the masses that stick close to Highway 16. Watch for elk herds in the woods and consider a stop at the nearby Joseph Sobran lookout tower just to the west of the start of this trail.
